Bio

Attorney Stephen Pipkin is the founder of The Pipkin Law Firm.  While attending the University of Houston Law School, Stephen knew he wanted to be a trial attorney.  While in law school, he excelled in the school's Mock Trial and Moot Court competitions.  During his three years in law school, he worked with the university's Mock Trial and Moot Court teams and was selected to the Order of the Barristers upon graduating in 1992.

Steve began his legal career in 1992 as a civil defense attorney.  He spent eight years as lead counsel regularly trying and defending cases for Dillard Department Store, Jack-In-The-Box, Allstate Insurance Company and Flying J Truck Stops.  Despite his success, he felt the need to become a Plaintiff attorney so that he could represent injured individuals.  In 2007, he founded The Pipkin Law Firm in hopes of letting his trial skills and desire to help people be of service to the community.

Since becoming a Plaintiff attorney, Steve routinely handles basic car wreck cases, as well as complicated catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases.

He serves on the Executive Board of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) (Dallas Chapter).  Induction in ABOTA is by invitation only, and is limited to the top trial lawyers in the country who exhibit exemplary character, ethics and professional standards.  He is a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas.  He is a member of 8 Figure Litigators which is a national organization comprised of trial lawyers who have been recognized and provided proof of obtaining an eight-figure settlement or trial verdict for their clients.  He has successfully tried numerous cases to a jury verdict in state and federal courts. He has obtained some of the following notable results:
