Bio

Jeff Bragalone is a founder of Bragalone Olejko Saad, P.C. in Dallas, Texas. Jeff received his J.D., with honors, from the University of Texas School of Law in 1987, where he was a member of the National Moot Court team, the Benton Moot Court team, an officer of the Board of Advocates, and was selected to the Order of Barristers.

Jeff and Bragalone Olejko Saad, P.C. have a nationwide complex commercial litigation practice, with an emphasis on patent and intellectual property litigation matters, technology related cases, and cases under the False Claims Act. Jeff has a wide variety of experience, including over one hundred Inter Partes Review proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, extensive patent litigation involving: wireless networking; liquid crystal displays; semiconductor devices, including DRAM, SRAM, EEPROM and flash; predictive text algorithms; circuit breakers; optical character recognition; inter-ocular lenses; user interfaces; object-relational mapping software; telephone circuitry; network switches; ADSL; voice coding; computer batteries; disk drives; vibratory finishing processes; satellite broadcasting; and personal computer compression algorithms.

Jeff also has significant experience in the areas of software licensing, trademark, copyright, and trade dress litigation. In non-IP cases, Jeff has been lead counsel in numerous complex matters including the subject matter areas of False Claims Act litigation, Fair Labor Standards Act litigation, securities litigation, unfair competition, Lanham Act, commercial lending, RICO, constitutional law, probate and estate litigation, bankruptcy adversary proceedings, employment disputes and non-compete agreements, and class actions. Jeff also has an active appellate practice, having successfully argued over a dozen appeals in precedent-setting cases before the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans and the 5th District Court of Appeals in Dallas.

Jeff is a Trustee of the Dallas Theater Center, where he serves on the Executive Committee and is a former President of the Board. Jeff is the youngest member to be inducted into his fraternity chapter's Hall of Fame (Kappa Sigma, GO chapter, Kansas). He can sometimes be seen onstage in the Dallas Bar Association’s annual “Bar None” variety show, and is a die-hard fan of the 2022 National Champion Kansas Jayhawks Men’s Basketball team.
