Bio

Practicing attorney at law as a trial lawyer with 56 years experience in multiple fields of law. An honors graduate of University of Richmond with a Bachelor of Arts in 1961 and a Juris Doctor in 1964 from that institution. In private practice since 1964 to the present. In addition an Associate Professor of Law at Patrick Henry College, a branch of the University of Virginia, and Patrick Henry Community College, from 1964 to 1973, and sat as a Substitute Judge in the General District and Juvenile and Domestic Relations Courts for the City of Martinsville and Henry and Patrick Counties from 1969 to 1981. Civically, he contributed as a former Trustee of Averett University and as a Board Member of the Board of Associates of the University of Richmond as well as serving in many other civic endeavors. For his accomplishments in the field of law, Mr. Williams was a recipient of the prestigious 2000 Tradition of Excellence Award from the Virginia State Bar, as well as being the recipient of a Joint Resolution commending his service to the people of Virginia from the Virginia General Assembly in 2011. He is proud to have used his career to positively impact his clients' lives. Mr. Williams is a member of the Virginia State Bar Association, as well as being listed in various national publications for his excellence in the practice of law.
