Keith focuses his practice on fiduciary representation which spans trust, estate and guardianship creation, administration and litigation, as well as, bankruptcy, business, family and oil and gas law. Keith has experience in a variety of probate, estate planning and guardianship administration and litigation, bankruptcy, creditor prosecution and defense, sports and entertainment law, and business litigation and some general litigation.  In addition to representing individuals, Keith also has experience representing companies in probate administrations who seek to open creditor’s administration.

Keith Morris received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas A&M University in December of 1997 and his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston Law Center in May of 2001.

Keith was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2001 and is admitted to practice in all Federal and Bankruptcy Courts in Texas.  Keith is a member of Tarrant County Probate Bar Association, the Dallas County Bar Association and the Houston Bar Association

Keith regularly serves as an Ad Litem and Administrator all over the State of Texas in different types of Probate and Guardianship matters.  He is certified as a Guardian Ad Litem, and has completed the National Institute for Trial Advocacy’s intensive courses in Trial Skills and Depositions. He frequently authors and speaks for the Texas State Bar, local bar associations and various national organizations at CLE courses including Fiduciary Litigation, Advanced Estate Planning and Advanced Elder Law. He is a co-author of the Texas Guardianship Manual and has recently presented papers such as Changing Face of Jury Selection and Prejudgment Processes and Procedures to Level the Playing Field  - Tricks, Traps and Opportunities From a Litigator and Judicial Perspective with the Honorable Mike Wood of Probate Court Number Two of Harris County, Texas, The Probate Process from Start to Finish and Creditor’s Claims in Estate and Guardianship Administrations, Fiduciary Duties in Real Estate Transactions and Beyond and COVID-19 Has Increased Demand for Estate Planning. Here’s How to Do It Right. Additionally, Keith spoke at the 2022 Inaugural WEB3 Law Conference on Estate Planning and Cryptocurrency.

Keith has been honored as a Best Lawyer in Trusts and Estates Litigation by Best Lawyers in America for 2020 and 2021,  Texas Monthly named Keith as Texas Super Lawyer Rising Star from 2011 to 2015 and a Texas Super Lawyer from 2015 to 2019.  He has also been named a Top Lawyer by H Texas Magazine and Houstonia Magazine and Keith has been recognized as one of 2016’s Power Law Firm and Lawyers by Houston’s Modern Luxury Magazine.
