Bio

Tanya D. Jeffords is a successful trial lawyer who protects and defends her clients in the areas of Criminal Law, Civil Rights Violations, Employment and Labor Law and Personal Injury Law. She has law offices in Georgia and South Carolina. Her motto for success in trying both criminal and civil cases is Preparation and the Power of Prayer. She earned her undergraduate degree from Augusta State University and her Juris Doctorate from Mercer University, Walter F. George School of Law in 2001. Mrs. Jeffords believes in helping her clients and their families to find solutions to their legal problems by way of fierce and caring advocacy. Some clients have nicknamed her the "Tiger." She was a federal judical law clerk for the Middle Disctrict of Georgia and has argued successfully before the Supreme Court of Georgia. She was instrumental in developing the Augusta Judicial Circuit Drug Court. She received the State Hero Award for outstanding service to Accountabilty Courts of Georgia. She and her husband cofounded Dream Builders of America's Youth Inc. in 2001. They have two children and attend Beulah Grove Baptist Church and True North.
