Mr. Breen is a trial attorney with a national practice that centers on representing victims and their families.  He has secured record setting jury verdicts and settlements in a variety of areas including product liability, transportation accidents and premises liability.  Mr. Breen prides himself on being a fierce advocate for victims and their families and helping them make a difference for others.   He has multiple Texas Hall of Fame verdicts and won statewide and national recognition for his service and representation.  Mr. Breen has particular experience and success representing victims who have suffered burn, spinal or brain injuries.  In recognition for his excellence in representing clients, he is listed in The Best Lawyers in America and in Super Lawyers. He repeatedly is named one of Central Texas’ Best of the Bar and Top 50 lawyers and one of Texas’ Top 100 by Super Lawyers.

Mr. Breen served as a briefing attorney to the First Court of Appeals in Texas from 1992-93; is an adjunct professor at South Texas College of Law in Trial and Appellate Advocacy where he coaches several varsity teams that compete nationwide; writes and speaks for continuing legal education courses in Texas, including presentations on Jury Trials, Securing Jury Awards, Representing Victims of Catastrophic injuries, Dispositive Motions in Texas at the University of Houston Advanced Personal Injury and Insurance Law Seminar; Effective Appellate Advocacy at the Appellate Practice Institute, presentations on Sweetheart Deals and on Bifurcated Trials for The University of Texas Law School Deceptive Trade Practices Seminar; and a paper and presentation on Leading Issues in Truck and Trailer Litigation at the TMTA Annual Conference and Trucking Exposition; he is a fellow of the State Bar Foundation; is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Travis County Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Texas Supreme Court Historical Society; and is admitted to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit, the U.S. District Court, Western and Southern Districts and before all Texas State Courts.
